Olivia Marie Golosky (Michif)

Hailing from nistawâyâw, Olivia is a Two-Spirit Michif Producer, Director and Writer based on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. Olivia’s passion is to empower Two-Spirit, Queer, and Trans Indigenous voices through a lens of radical self-love and joy. They are a member of the McMurray Métis Local 1935 and the Métis Nation of Alberta. 

They are an alumni of programs such as; Cannes Film Festival’s impACT Lab, National Screen Institute’s IndigiDocs Program, GEMS’ Tricksters & Writers’ Program and Audible's Indigenous Writers' Circle program.

They work alongside Tyler Hagan & Kathleen Hepburn as an Associate Producer with Experimental Forest Films.

Olivia’s award-winning Podcast, Through the Kaleidoscope, was produced through CJSW 90.9 FM.

Their writings have appeared in Red Rising Magazine and the Canadian Theatre Review. Their play, Wihtiko, can be found in the Alberta Playwrights Network’s catalogue.
